A fail-proof recipe that only needs 6 basic ingredients. If you love shrimp then this quick 10-minute dish is perfect for you.
1/2 kilo shrimp (option if you want to peel & deveined), 3 cloves garlic minced, 2 Tbsp. sesame oil, 5 Tbsp. ketchup, 2 Tbsp. soy sauce (optional if you want to use salt instead), 2 Tbsp. sugar, salt & pepper to taste.
Step 1: Sauté garlic in sesame oil.
Step 2: Add shrimp. Noticed I didn’t remove the head? I like to dip it in the sauce as it is flavorful heehee.
Step 3: Add in the ketchup and soy sauce.
Also add in sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Stir for a few more minutes until shrimp is cooked, you can also add half a cup of water if you want more sauce.
