Sharing with you all my Bulalo Steak with Mushroom Sauce recipe. It’s a different take on your usual Bulalo Soup, that is if you’re fond of steak then this recipe is for you.
Here’s wachunid:
3-4 pcs. of beef shank, medium sized onion chopped, 4 cloves garlic chopped, a small can of sliced button mushroom, a can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom, 1/4 cup milk (optional), about 2-3 teaspoon dried parsley, 3 tbsp. soy sauce, oil for frying,1/4 cup water and salt & pepper to taste.
Step 1: Boil the beef shanks to make it tender and set aside. Don’t forget to remove the scum that rises.
Step 2: In a pan, add oil and sear the beef shanks and remove afterwards. In the same pan, sauté garlic and onions and dried parsley, add the beef shanks again.
Step 3: Add about 1/4 cup of water and soy sauce (you can always adjust the number of tbsp depending on your preference).
Step 4: Add the Cream of Mushroom and milk. Bring to boil for at least 3-5 minutes.
Step 5: Add in the mushroom a minute after it boils. Then add salt & pepper to taste.
Serve with steamed rice or garlic bread.
