Today is the last day of the year 2014. I can’t believe another year has passed by. This year was a bit challenging for the GJGs. Mr. GJG & I have been tested, career wise while the lil’ GJGs got hospitalised in different circumstances. Still, 2014 was good to us. I guess it’s the unexpected that keeps us grounded, keeping us on our toes and motivates us to move out of our comfort zone. 2014 was filled with lots of new and first for us. As we close 2014 today, allow me to look back as I bid goodbye to the year that was. Surely, the moments and memories I’ve made will forever remain.
This year, I am grateful that I met a lot of wonderful people. I’m not really a social butterfly as social gatherings and events always bring out my undeniable awkwardness. I’m really glad that through blogging I get to set aside my being an introvert. Despite being a homemaker and a full time mom to my children, I’m happy that I get to do something else aside from these crucial roles that I have to play every single day.

PLACES

WORK & PLAY
This was also the year where I got the hang of mixing work and play. I’m grateful that I can take care of my kids while I’m given opportunities to work on the side, sometimes even with them.

If you think modelling is easy, it’s not really. While it’s fun, it can be challenging to pretend you’re seeing something looking all serious. The bungisngis me cannot hide it!

FOOD
Aaaah, food. The thing I like spending my hard earned money on. I swear, I don’t get to save much because I like eating. I don’t really mind paying for good food as long as there’s quality and flavor (not all hype) to it. These are some of my favorite food that I’m really glad that I got to taste this year. Looking forward to the new year for more new restaurants to try and food to savour.
A lot of fun and challenging things happened in 2014 and a blog post with tons of photos isn’t enough to sum it up. The year went by so fast yet the days aren’t enough for the things I want to do, places I wanna go, food I want to eat and memories I want to make. Luckily, a new year is coming.
To all who have been part of my 2014, thank you. For the good, the bad and the medyo-medyo lang, even the most simplest and ordinary that have unfolded in 2014, I am grateful. I have never felt so fulfilled doing the things that I like while having the luxury to be a hands on mom to my children. I’m wishing everyone a happy new year! May all your goals, plans and dreams come true in 2015! Push nyo na yan mga teh. Bawal nega for more chances of winning in life 😉
Cheers to an amazing 2015!

Hi Jackie, it’s my first time to visit your blog and I’m glad that the first post that I read happens to be the one that contains the summary of your year. At least it gave me a quick overview of what are the things that you blog about. Your 2014 was very productive and fun, I’m sure there’ll be lots of them too in 2015. By the way, I can’t believe you’re a mom, you sure don’t look it, and I meant that in a good way. By the way, I love what you’re wearing in the laid back ootd picture. Happy New Year!
