Nuffnang held its first ever Palarong Nuffies. It’s a gathering between the Nuffies and Nuffnang Talents to build camaraderie, sportsmanship while having loads of fun. The event happened last June 21, 2014 at Treston International College in Taguig City.
Yun totoo, hindi talaga ako sporty! I may have played badminton back when I was in school, but forte ko talaga ang mga larong kayle like patintero, ganyan. I went not because I want to win, but because I want to hang out and get to know the Nuffies and my fellow Nuffnang talents.
Gardenia bread and O+ mobile sponsored the prizes. Lavett!
While Krispy Kreme and Nestea Iced Tea were the food sponsors. Noms.
There were six teams composed of Nuffies and Nuffnang talents.
After the short but sweet oath taking and team introduction, we had present our team cheer. Each team had to come up with a cheer. Here’s the orange team practicing.
Akshuli, the first 5 minutes, we were just making chika! Then when it was down to the last few minutes, we hustled and created our cheer! NKKLK!
Competitive kami ng slight! 😉
The first game was patintero. The orange team was against the purple team. Grabe, can you see the exasperation evidently painted on my face?! Halatang I’m out of shape! Nonetheless our team won this game! Yay!
Next we had the Nestea relay game.
Then we did the limbo rock.
Yun totoo, si Victor lang ang kering mag selfie habang nag lilimbo rock. Kaloka!
Then it was down to Nuffie Jamon & me. Grabe ha, parang walang skeletal system tong lalaking to!
Spot my fez. Thought bubble: “Hmmmm. keri ko din bang i-bend my feet para makalusot?”
Slight feet bending lang pala ang kailangan! Hahaha.
Happy Foundation Day!!!
Dahil special si Camille, kaya’t may special award sya. Best Bibong Bata!
I honestly wasn’t’ expecting I’d be the last one to do the limbo rock. To begin with, I am not flexible. Well, at least back when I was younger. Weird no? After having two kids, have I become more flexible! I think it’s because I do more chores, errands. Mas banat my bones and muscles now compared before! Heehee. Yay! A for effort.
Update: the day after the Palarong Nuffies, my body was so sore I couldn’t even get out of bed. Lolabells lang! But keri na sya now. Oh, and I started working out again para medyo may comeback naman after being sore for days! Heehee.
Three MVN (Most Valuable Nuffie) awards were also given.
And meeeee! Whaaaat? OMG.OMG. OMG. I would like to thank myself for being sporty that day! Self, you didn’t fail me! Hahahaha. I treated myself to chocolates afterwards because I deserve it!
Now for the winning teams. Drumroll please!
Bronze place goes to Yellow Team.
Gold was grabbed by the Orange Team. Kami naaaa! Yahoooooooo! Dinaan namin sa pagka-bibo at slight stretching! Kungrachuleeeeyshooonz to us GOrange!!!
Thank you so much Nuffnang Philippines for the unforgettable experience you gave us during the Palarong Nuffies 2014. We are so looking forward to next year’s event. Competetive talaga?! Charaughtera! Hahaha.
Thank you also to our sponsors! Our venue partner- Treston International College, O+ mobile phones, Gardenia bread, Krispy Kreme, and Nestea Iced Tea.
Now pa lang mag-stretching na ko! 😉
