Finally! The cool breeze has come to bring Christmas cheer! Hihi. Perfect to bust out my leather skirt that I’ve been dying to wear.
Tanning for the holidays! Heehee. Well, I literally was getting my tan on yesterday. If you follow me on Snapchat (gojackiego) you’ll see our spontaneous trip to the beach. I admit, I was becoming a grinch because I have tons of things to do yet Mr. JG insisted we go on a trip. As I was grumpy on our way, upon arriving at the beach, I was reminded to pause and take it all in.
Now back to this look. Despite the cool breeze, it’s still sunny here in the tropics. So this outfit works perfectly for Manila weather – light breezy top paired with leather skirt.
I think I can still wear this leather skirt even if the holidays are over. It’s not as if it’s made for winter naman. It’s light and because it’s a skirt, it’s breezy and airy too!
Office ready and party ready!
I miss wearing black so I’ve accessorised instead with hints of black, gold and tan.
This two-way clutch works to dress up or dress down my look. Wear it with a chain for a more casual look or remove the chain and carry it as a clutch to make it more evening appropriate.
If you notice, I don’t wear much accessories as I used to. Well, this is because accessorizing really is the last thing on my mind whenever I dress up. But since my outfit looks too plain, I decided to spruce it up with this beautiful piece.
To tone down the corporate-feel of the look, instead of wearing black pumps, I paired it with this pretty cap-toe pair which Mr. JG got for me last Christmas.
Holiday dressing need not to be sparkly, shiny and bright. Sometimes, the most neutral outfit makes you stand out from the bright lights and cheerful Christmas decoration that surrounds you. What’s important though when you’re dressing for the holidays is that you are comfortable. Such a bummer not to walk properly or sit, be merry and comfortable in what you’re wearing right? Lakas maka-grinch! Heehee.
