I first learned about Common Thread during the Thread 365 launch, when Anne, President of TSA Group mentioned that she and friend, Rissa are busy setting up a lifestyle store in Singapore. Eventually, I’ve learned that this store named, CommonThread (CT) has opened as well in Manila.
Life + style are some of the things I’m really passionate about, so I was thrilled to get an invite to visit CommonThread here in Manila.
CommonThread is an international multi-label high-street fashion store that offers hand-picked collections of basic apparel, footwear and accessories that help tell your style story.
It first opened its store in Singapore, then in Malaysia and now in the Philippines. CT houses international brands but at the same time, offers its clients local brands that go well with the stores’ concept of offering classic yet chic pieces.
The merchandise mix supports the fun & carefree Havaianas lifestyle suitable for international four seasons weather (Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn). Its core offering is casual footwear from international heritage brands such as Havaianas from Brazil and Bensimon from France. The rest of the collections are also internationally-renowned brands of accessories such as sunglasses, watches, scarves, basic apparel, jewellery etc. CT plays a host to timeless iconic and heritage brands as well as well as up and coming labels from all over the world.
