I got invited by Reese, the founder and the woman behind the famous locally made social enterprise brand- Rags 2 Riches to the launching of the brand’s SS ’14 collection. Remember my Instagram post about the hoarding that happened over the R2R showroom in San Juan? I got more than a handful of floor mats at Pho 50 each and bags? I couldn’t help it as Now, they have released their summer collection with a nautical theme of course.
We were able to sail to high seas as Rags 2 Riches showcased their 2014 summer collection as well as the exclusive collaboration with model, writer, host and blogger Kelly Misa.
It was a crafty afternoon, upon entering Privato Hotel’s function room, I was given a kit that contains tools for me to design my very own R2R pouch.
The activity was headed by Alessandra Lanot, crafter, designer and the woman behind Life After Breakfast.
R2R throw pillows and floor poufs were also present during the event. But the highlight of the day was the lovely showroom area where they featured R2R’s summer collection.
Lavett! All this set up needs is the sun shining brightly and the waves crashing and summer na summer na ang peg! Don’t you just love it?
I spy with my eye this lovely Cruiser bag, it was screaming my name! Heehee.
