Last May 11, 2018 Promil 4 iShine 6 recital happened. It was the conclusion of this year’s iShine Camp Year 6 which was made more available to all those interested in nurturing the gift of their kids. I wrote about the camp since it’s press presentation months ago. My son was part of the iShiners this year and wrote about his Engineering For Kids experience too. The culminating program was held at KIA Theater where all the young iShiners gathered to perform their hearts out for all the parents, grandparents, and even siblings to see.
Promil momma Dimples Romana hosted the event.
It was a presentation of all four camps–art, dance, engineering and music.
First up: the art class. Look at the cute owls!
A big THANK YOU was the finale of the art camp. I swear this was just the first ten minutes of the recital yet most of us parents were emotional na!
Teacher Cara & Teacher Robert of Art Camp.
Next performance was the dance classes of G-Force. This is the camp that has a lot of participants. I think there were eight or more dance groups from different cities.
All dance groups were headed by G-Forces dancers under the supervision of Teacher Georcelle.
All the iShiners who underwent the dance camp were all out during their performance. I love how each group had unique dance moves and came out on stage in full force. I wish I could dance like them though.
The little engineers of Engineering Camp were next. They were only six who joined the recital but they were enough for the crowd to gush and cheer when they went on stage. Spot my little guy making funny faces as soon as he saw us amongst the crowd.
What else did they do but perform experiments!
They launched their rockets on stage and for every successful launch the crowd goes wild! Of course I think I was the loudest and proudest! 😀
Cuties in their lab coats.
They also showcased a giant mechanical hand using strings they attached in order for it to move. Love how science can be fun! Speaking of fun, fun fact: when I was Juro’s age I remember wanting to be a scientist when I grow up. I’ve always been fascinated on how things work. Now seeing my son develop the same thing makes me smile.
More dance performances by the iShiner dance camp.
The cutest performance that night was by Me and My Little Force–a child and parent tandem. They all look super cute as they danced together.
I think the parents had as much fun as their kids. Galing!
The last but definitely not the least of all four is the music camp. It was a combination of singing and playing of musical instruments of all iShiners. This was lead by no other than Mr. C himself, Ryan Cayabyab.
Cuties!!!
The moment where most of us fell silent and just took it all in. These kids sang Shine and it was beautiful. Feel na feel ko yung moment that they were serenading us all. Ang ganda lang. Huhuhuhu.
Of course the recital won’t be complete without the teachers giving a performance themselves.
Teacher Lei, Maestro Ryan, Teacher Georcelle, Teacher Robert and Teacher Cara. Thank you all for helping us nurture the gifts of our kids. 🙂 I think I can speak for all the iShiners & their parents because we all truly enjoyed Promil 4 iShine 6 Camp this year. 🙂
Ms. Theresa Chong, Marketing Director of Wyeth Philippines closed the program by meaningfully thanking everyone for being a part of their successful 6th year.
Here’s my little engineering with Teacher Lei doing their final bow.
Congratulations little engineers! Congratulations also Teacher Lei and the whole Engineering For Kids team for an awesome camp!
All smiles because he enjoyed his Promil 4 iShine 6 journey!
I’ll forever remember this day when this cutie pie made us oh so, so, so proud!
I promise to try my best and give my children opportunities to learn and grow. It may not be convenient and sometimes it can even be challenging but as a mom, I promise to help my kids nurture their gift and lead them to activities and experiences that can make them better people.
Thank you Promil 4 for giving parents the opportunity to proper care, proper nutrition and proper nurturing.
