Aside from brow products, lately I find myself trying different kinds of mascara. Mascara was my least favorite makeup product because I fairly have long lashes that can pass as lash extensions so I really didn’t feel the need to use it. But my friend once told me that I should take advantage of my long lashes and use mascara to enhance it even more. The thing is I dislike wearing mascara because more often than not at the end of the day it gives me panda eyes and removing it can be a b*tch. But now I’ve come to appreciate it’s purpose and how it can really make my eyes look brighter so I’m giving it a second chance.
Adding a new subcategory here on my blog called Mascara Files, like Browsession I’ll feature mascara products I’ve tried and give my honest opinion on how it is on me.
First on my list is Tony Moly Pang Pang Mascara.
Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara in 03 Dolly Long Lash, Php 428
Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara has a semi-curved wand that helps lift the lashes as you apply the mascara. There are I think 3 kinds of Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara and this one is #3 which focuses on creating long lashes.
Here’s my lashes without mascara. I just curled it. The trick really is to curl your lashes properly so it’s set before applying mascara.
Here’s my lashes with Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara–just one coat.
See how it immediately made my lashes longer? Unfortunately it wasn’t able to hold the curl which mostly happens when the mascara is meant to lengthen the lashes.
Though it immediately brightened my eyes and made me look like I was wearing an eyeliner, the curl wasn’t just there. If you have short lashes and you’re looking into lengthening it but not necessarily want the curl, Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara is for you. If you apply two coats it’ll make your lashes look longer and thicker. Trick is to push your lashes upward while applying the mascara so it won’t fall flat. I have yet to master this trick for my lashes are naturally long so applying mascara on it can really put weight making it flat and straight. 🙁
Got any mascara recommendations? Let me know bilang willing ako to try them all! 🙂
Tony Moly Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara is available at all Tony Moly stores.
