I am now officially part of the ladies who lunch. Ever since we, the SoMoms were launched we’ve been constantly communicating and seeing each other as often as we could. The nonsense chitchats and interesting stories of me and my co-moms were definitely our excuse to do lunch. And so we did, as for our first meeting we tried Lunchbox.
It was their soft opening when we went there, a lot of the food on their menu weren’t available.
Cute concept and design. The place was designed by Jagnus Design Studio and the wood panels were by Detalle Woodworks. Spot the white scrapwood walls and floor, love it!

THE VERDICT
The Ambiance: 3 clovers
I love the cutesiness of the place and how homey and comforting it feels. I wish it can seat more than 20 people inside.
The Food: 3 clovers
I’m a sucker for comfort food and American gourmet food to be exact so I was looking for something that’s surprisingly different.
The Price: 2.5 clovers
I wish their servings were big enough to share or at least to fully satisfy one’s hunger. Their Fish & Chips were good but serving was little. See photo above for the actual serving. I wish their price points were a bit lower or at least at par with their servings.
The Service: 2.5 clovers
Most of their dishes were off the menu when we came but that’s alright since they’re on soft opening. The staff though were clueless as to what was available and what wasn’t.
OVERALL RATING: 3
It was an okay experience. I just hope the next I go back there most of their food will be available.
I love that despite our busy schedules as SAHM, WAHM, Mompreneurs and of course wives and women we still managed to squeeze in an hour or two just to be together for lunch. What’s more cooler is that despite interacting online almost everyday, we never ran out of stories to tell. Ayun lang super fail ‘coz we don’t have a photo together but I do have a photo of lil’ Ms. GJG and Berry enjoying lunch with their mommies. 😉
