I love leather. It is one of the things I consider whenever I buy a bag or a pair of shoes. I find value for money whenever I buy leather goods because they last longer than canvas or synthetic, man-made materials. They also age beautifully when taken good care of. But my favorite would have to be the intoxicating smell of leather goods!
Good thing there are a lot of emerging brands that offer quality leather goods. One of them is Simpliste. I actually follow the brand na on Instagram. I was so curious with their Treveen bag because of how similar it is with the coveted designer trio bag, which I cannot ever afford unless I win the lottery.
Lucky me I was able to get first dibs on the latest Treveens plus my very own Freya!
Good things come in simple packages too!
Isn’t my Freya tote in yellow green (it looks mustard yellow in the photo) with navy blue printed pocket just lovely? According to Nikki, I am the only one who has this Freya combination. Yahoo! I feel so, so special! Heehee.
Here are their latest Treveens. OMG. I want them all!
Leather metallics in pewter, gold and silver. Perfect for the coming holiday season!
Simpliste pronounced as sim-pleest.
Simpliste bags are all about clean, refined, everyday style. Our styles are no-fuss and simple, opting to use little to no hardware as much as possible.
The brand is the baby of two women named Denyse Sy (left) and Nikki Corpus (right). They’re actually related as Denyse is Nikki’s husband’s cousin. The small talk of how they both want to design simple yet stylish leather bags started it all. In March 2012, they finally sourced for the materials and production logistics for their venture and come July, they opened their online shop on Facebook.
What’s good about their partnership is that they understand the needs of a woman whether she is single and career driven or blissfully married with kids. Denyse is a mom of two teenagers while Nikki is a newly wed for three years now. Both women have different lifestyles which entails different opinons, needs and priorities but they compromise on how they develop their bag styles. They only use imported genuine leather but proud to say that each Simpliste bag is locally-made. You also won’t fret about having the same particular bag with a hundred other women as they offer limited stocks per colour per style. Bongga!
And because Nikki & Denyse want my readers to experience Simpliste, they’re giving you all 10% discount on any bag you purchase from today until November 24, 2013 only. Simply mention the code GOJACKIEGO10 for your purchase.
