We all know it you and I, that having a little black dress in your closet is a must. But what most women think about the LBD–being too little, too reserved and too conventional are all but serious misconceptions.
I have one too many LBDs in my closet. Too much that they sometimes all look the same. My husband couldn’t really tell the difference and every time I wear one, he would always give his thought “Didn’t you wear that the other day?” UGH.
It got me thinking really, how else do you wear a LBD?
Nothing like light, breezy LBD for summer.
The double layered skirt makes it not your average LBD. The style actually makes it easy to dress up and dress down.
While summer isn’t a good time to wear black– the color tends to look heavy & weighed down–choosing the right fabric & cut make it suitable for any season. Light fabric & comfy style is the perfect LBD to wear on a hot summer’s day.
Strappy stilettos very much compliments any LBD.
Experimented wearing it differently to make it more casual.
Now it’s not too little, too reserved right?
Ripped jeans make it even more chic, in my opinion. 😉
If you’re aiming for smart casual look, trade the structured button down & pantsuit for LBD & jeans.
Strappy stilettos is also a staple just like the LBD.But if you’re a momma like me, wearing flats is a lifesaver especially on a busy day.
