School’s gonna start in less than a month for us and every year I get mixed feelings because my kids are really growing up fast, from preschool and now I have two graderschoolers. Hahahuhuhu. Though be that as it may, one of the things I really look forward to is shopping for back to school items for them. While both their schools make it easy for me to buy all their essentials during enrollment, I find that adding a few fun and cute items makes my kids look forward to going back to school.
So off I went to SM Megamall to shop for fun and cute items for my kids and of course for myself at SM Stationery.
Quick tip: make your kids look forward to going back to school by building anticipation. You can start by having a countdown calendar then make your way to getting them items that can help them prepare for school once again.
Check out some of the things I found at SM Stationery which I know can give my kids a dose of fun and functionality just in time to school.
What I like about SM Stationery is that you can see scan every aisle from where you’re standing and you’ll know exactly where is what. The signs are clearly visible so you don’t need to shuffle your way to figure out making shopping less stressful and more fun.
One side is where the basic supplies are at such as notebooks and papers. But since I already have these covered, I took my time and scanned the other side where the cute and fun items are at.

After an hour (this is probably the fastest I’ve ever done) shopping I went home and showed my kids what I got for them.
I got two mermaid pillows–one for each my kids. Look at how happy Gabbie is! It matches her mermaid romper too!
I bought a bunch of cute erasers, pens and markers for my little doodlers. 
They’re even more excited to draw and doodle with these cute things.
I got my kids these super cute bath sponges also at SM Stationery. They surely have everything! My kids love bath time but they don’t like waking up early to do so. So this is one way to encourage them.
And since my kids have a lot of pens and markers, I got them a matching pencil case and cute angel keychains. I also got them their own mini fan so when they have to wait for me by the pick up area of their school, they won’t be as sweaty!
If there’s one thing I couldn’t have enough of it would be eco bags! I love using them and I always have one in my bag, about three or four in my car and a few placed all over our home. Heehee. I bought these two drawstrings for my kids so they can use as a grooming kit or as an extra bag should they need one.
And I couldn’t resist these cuties! I got for my daughter her own name stamp and a cute unicorn keychain since she’s been all about unicorns lately.
These bag organizers are for me and for my daughter. She loves fixing her bag–sometimes she changes school bag every week so this is perfect for her to store her knick knacks and other stuff she brings in school.
More cute notebooks to encourage my kids to write and draw more.
Aaaaand I couldn’t resist getting these notebooks for my kids and myself. A little motivation goes a long way so these along with colourful and cute pens are for us to enjoy this school year.
And because my kids get screen time. I got them these Sibyl headphones that are so cute and colourful.

My kids are in a matchy-matchy phase and would want what the other has so this was the perfectback-to-school accessory for them. Their very own all-in-one school pack backpack!
So glad they like the design I picked for them!
As for me I got my very own weekly planner sheets and a cute flamingo pen so I can efficiently map out and plan our weekly schedule. Super loved the items I shopped at SM Stationery.
