Aside from black and white, brown and navy blue are essential colors in my wardrobe. I find these four colors easy to mix and match. While black and white can sometimes be overpowering, mixing it with brown can give you a more approachable look. Today’s #OOTD is Deja Vu because you’ve probably seen something similar HERE.
No fail look for me always includes a skirt. Mid length, just above or below the knee. These usually makes the look more polished even if I pair it with a simple tank top.
Pairing a nice fitting skirt with an equally nice top is hashtag outfit goals. I wish I can wear this every time or I wish I’ve gotten this skirt in black and the top in white. Heehee.
Change the shoes to strappy heels or sneakers and add an outerwear like a cardigan or vest and you’ve totally got a different look.
Pleated skirts such as the one I’m wearing can make you look longer (vertical lines always do) but always go for a piece that fits you nicely in order for the pleats to work in your favor, otherwise you’ll end up looking a few pound heavier and your mid-section wider. Lucky me I scored this lovely piece on sale for Php 300+ only. Yes to sale! 😉
Loving my new hair. Thanks Design Studio for my fresh cut (finally layered my hair after a year) and color.
Lace up ballerina may be so last year but this pair is one of my for keeps. It’s chic and comfy, need I say more?
Sometimes, when I’m in a hurry, I stick to my favorite kind of make up–barely there. Just did my eyebrows, wore brown eyeliner, curled my lashes and use lip and cheek. I don’t usually wear mascara ‘coz I find it tedious to remove afterwards–don’t we all dread having panda eyes after? I know I do!
