When it comes to gift giving there are two things I consider: it has to be pretty or it has to be practical.
There are so many pretty things you can give as gifts for Christmas. Lots of brands have ready made gift sets such as skin care, make up and perfume bundles. While food as gifts are practical yet something I also enjoy giving and receiving. Fruit cakes, cheese balls, sweets, wine, tea or coffee sets to name a few.
Aside from these, one thing my family & I like to give our friends and family, particularly those who are hard to give gifts to–we all have that one friend or one relative who have everything they need right?–is a gift basket.
We like to give gift baskets that we assemble ourselves because we want it to be curated and something that we’ve thought of. So here’s a short video on what goes in our gift basket.

My family and friends know me as a practical gifter. I always give what they use for daily and what is useful to them. My brother loves anything for shower and bath that’s why I hoard with bath items when on sale. My co-workers love receiving items the same things my brother’s. Practically, that is how I roll when gifting season like Christmas. 🙂

This Christmas, I believe I gifted my loved ones some practical gifts. Haha. Like for my mom, I gifted her umbrella (since she always borrows mine) and lotion (she always ran out of it. Lol). ? Merry Christmas!
Im a practical person esp during Christmas, so normally what i give to my family and friends are something that they’ve been wanting like pots and pans for those who love to cook, or cloths or i ask a wish lost from them so that the gifts that ill buy will be surely put to use and not just stored

And yes, i also enjoy giving practical gifts to my love ones. This Christmas, I actually gave vitamins to my father, a 3months supply of it. For my mom, i gave groceries so she will not have to buy for the noche buena. She’s happy to receive it because atleast she doesnt have to spend her money (and time). For my brother, sister, nrphew,husband and daughter, I prepared a pack of toiletries that includes toothbrush and bathsoap. Ofcourse Safeguard is in each package too. Safeguard for men and LiQuid bath soft are essentials. Instead of giving away the pricey shower gel from other stores, I prefer safeguard because it kills germs, soft on skin and gives that fresh and clean feeling. Nothing beats safeguard when it comes to bath soap. I love that they have variants for every member of the family. I would love to have an ample supply of it for the coming year. For my girl, a handwash, a hand santizer and a bodywash will be the perfect gift. She actually enjoys washing her hands and using hand sanitizers (haha little germophobe!) and she’s been using Safeguard bodywash for years. I just need to wrap it with pretty pink wrapping paper and throw in a little pink bear or bunny and she will be very delighted! For my hubby, he will really appreciate a bodywash and a face towel. I’m also giving him a tumbler so he will stay hydrated. He always have a tumbler everywhere he goes so my gift will be very useful.
