BTS: GirlStuff Nail Polish X Go Jackie Go

Nail polish is an accessory we women like to put on just because. It can instantly spruce up our look or even our mood. So when Janina of Girl Stuff nail polish asked me if I wanted to be part of her brand’s summer collection, of course I said yes.

You see, GirlStuff is one of my favorite nail polish. Ever since lil’ Ms. GJG started showing interest in putting nail polish, I’ve been letting her use GirlStuff.

It doesn’t contain any of these five harmful chemicals commonly found in other polish: Toulene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phtalate, formaldehyde resin and camphor. It’s gentle on nails and you won’t get any yellow nails which is caused by formaldehyde-infused nail polish.

So a week before the launch of the Blogger’s Elite Summer Collection of GirlStuff, we had our quick & fun shoot. Here’s the BTS of what happened that afternoon.

Our photographer was Emilio Esguerra. The shoot was super fast lang, it took about 20 minutes or less. It gave us enough time to eat, laugh & make chika!

Ask Me Whats & Go Jackie Go

During our meeting, Janina asked me what’s my favorite color. I nonchalantly told her “Aside from black, white, and gray, the only “bright” color I love is green!” She then smiled because she was really thinking of naming GirlStuff’s green shade of summer after my blog Go Jackie Go. Never in my wildest imagination did I think of something being named after me/my blog. 😀

Here’s GirlStuff Go Jackie Go. It reminds me of the calming hue of the tropics. I love that this shade of green works on different skin tones.

Here I am with Nikki Tiu of Ask Me Whats & Cristina Decena of Strutting On Sunshine. Frances was still having her hair & make up and since we three were done, more photo op for us. Hihi.

We love our make up so much that we took this chance to take tons of wefie! Heehee
