A breathtaking backdrop such as Bohol, where I had my first sweet escape of the year, calls for an OOTD shoot. Lucky for me, I was with people who are willing to snap my photos & have an eye for detail. Here’s my one and only beachy outfit taken at Alona Beach in Panglao Island.
I finally got to wear this piece which was in my closet for the past few months. While I have plans on how I can wear it in the city, I really wanted to wear it to the beach first. The timing couldn’t be perfect (thank you Lord) as I was able to wear it particularly, in the beautiful island of Panglao, Bohol.
See-through na, backless pa!
See-through na, backless pa, may side slits pa! Hahahaha. Medyo conservative na hubadera lang ang peg ng dress na to.
Such a pretty dress deserves a pretty background. Haaaay ganda mo Bohol!
And because I was at the beach and it was my first time in Bohol, I had mustered the courage to finally wear a two-piece suit.
I don’t have wash board abs nor super flat tummy yet, yet talaga?! Yes, bilang goal ko ang magka-abs this year. So wearing a two-piece bikini never really crossed my mind. Even when I was still single, I wasn’t confident wearing one. Bad posture + protruding puson leave me no choice but to stick to one piece and maillot instead. But I figured, I might as well break-in my neoprene bikini. If not now, when?
I was just in on a few weeks of Pilates & yoga during my Bohol trip and even though it doesn’t show, I like that it has made my posture better and my core more stable. With this, despite my mommy scars (read: stretch marks) I can see a huge difference na.
I know I have a looooong way to go to have that abs that I have long ordered (ang tagal dumating!) from the fitness fairy, but I’m kinda proud that I was able to finally wear a bikini without having to constantly suck in my belly. 😀
I’m trying this waist-trimmer thing where I’m training my waist to slim down with the help of a waist cincher, coupled with ab workout and of course avoiding food that can make my tummy feel & look bloated. Hopefully, when I finish the challenge I can see the result & if there’s a difference, I’m totally gonna share with you all what I did.
I promise next time I wear this bikini, may abs na ko! Puuuuuuush!
