Oui, Merci!

When I think of Parisian chic two styles come to mind: The preppy & the glam. The preppy wears a hint of color, a variety of volume & definition while the glam wears muted tones mainly blacks and prefer a sleeker, cleaner silhouette. But that’s just how I see it.  I actually have an outfit post inspired by the preppy Parisian. Yes, I was almost 5 month pregnant then! Heehee. Anyway, I went to the launch of Bensimon here in Manila, and the attire was Parisian chic. I assume a lot would wear stripes or flowy dresses, so I tried to channel the glam Parisian in me. Well, after a few hours (no thanks to my open closet read: my kids’ bedroom) of searching for a perfect outfit, I found a simple yet chic look perfect for a night in Paris.

I don’t want to be muted nor too monotone, so I opted for a two-tone look that still looks nice even at night.

The very evident eye bags were part of my outfitey. I’m running on 2-3 hours of sleep ever since I became maidless/yayaless because I write/blog in the wee hours of the night. A for effort itey! 😉

Loving this gold & black top I got from Ebay. Of course it’s cheap lang! It’s an Italian brand but the tag has faded so I cannot deciper the name. Nonetheless, I love it coz I got it under 500 pesos. O ha!

I’ve read that Parisians will take gold any time of the day as they aren’t really fond of silver. So if you wanna channel the Parisian in you, well, well, well, Facundo, ilabas ang solid gold dancers este bars! solid gold bars! LOL

I also learned in my research that Parisians don’t like carrying big bags, so I wore a mini bag to compliment my look.

Finally wore my strappy shoes on a night out.
