WSI Store Now In SM Megamall

 I’m not really a watch type of person. As far as I’m concerned, only three kinds of watches matter to me: casual, (everyday) dress, (special occasion) and sports (workout). Sometimes I even forget to wear a watch because I can always check the time on my phone, given I’m always holding it naman. But when WSI invited me for the opening of their first store in Manila, I was eager to check out what’s the latest when it comes to luxury fashion watches.

WSI or Watch Style Insider is a new retail destination where WATCH STYLE is everything.

It is a place where you’ll find the latest fashion watch styles and the world’s most loved brands- including Fossil, Michael Kirs, Emporio Armani, Diesel, DKNY, Skagen, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Armani Exchange, and Karl Lagerfeld.

WSI is an emerging international leader in fashion and designer luxury timepieces. With a well-balanced and diverse portfolio of men’s and women’s timepieces, WSI is the latest multi-branded retail concept from Fossil Group influenced by the worlds of fashion and culture.

The interior of WSI is clean, sleek and modern. It kinda lures me to go around and try some of the watches that catches my eye.

During the launch, I together with other bloggers and media did exactly that- we went around the store looking at these beautiful timepieces and I’ve got a dozens of photos to show you.

Founded by Donna Karan, DKNY is the energy and spirit of New York. It addresses the real-life needs of people everywhere. From work to weekend, jeans to evening, DKNY offers an all-encompassing collection so that you can be confident with any personality you exhibit.

I’ve always loved the aesthetics of DKNY. The assortment is a mix of glam and edge that can take you from day to night.

Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld is all about Kreative, iconiK, Kool and accessible-luxe apparel and accessories. The look is modern, iconic, young in spirit and attitude with a mix of high street and luxury.

Diesel
Bold, rebellious and never shy, Diesel is a brand that doesn’t follow trends, it create them. Large, loud and never afraid of color, they don’t follow the “rules” of casual watch design, preferring to blaze new ground whenever possible.

Skagen

Marc by Marc Jacobs

But you all know what Marc Jacob’s design is all about right? Marc by Marc Jacobs watch collection was launched in 2006, The look is youthful, understated, layered, vintage military inspired with a twist of something unexpected.

Michael Kors

A world-renowned, award-wining designer of luxury accessories and ready-to-wear is what Michael Kors is. The Fall 2014 women’s watch collection is drool worthy as it features an assortment of jewel-bright colors, glamourous material and inspired reinventions of classic styles.

Fancy some rose gold quartz? Don’t mind if I do! I’ve always been attracted to rose gold. It’s not really screaming stiff and formal unlike gold gold. This color (almost like copper) gives a subtle hint of elegance without wanting too much attention.

The left most was the watch Patricia Hizon was wearing. Ganda no?!

Vintage feels.

These are all too pretty! I forgot to ask if this style had a white or mother of pearl face. If so, I think I’ll add this on my Christmas wish list.

But what caught my fancy the most is this lovely piece of Michael Kors MK6065. Gold & green, two of the things I like. I wanneeeet!

Tin Dychiao, Patty Laurel, Nikki Tiu and I. We had so much fun exchanging giggles as we got a closer look at the watches. I never thought I’d like luxury fashion watches until I’ve visited WSI. Now I really want that green Michael Kors watch! *Ahem, ahem! Hi Mr. GJG!* 😉
