Dress pants or trouser is the least piece of clothing that interest me. If I were working in the corporate world, I bet I would owe more than a dozen, but since I don’t really need to power dress, I just admire it from the racks, mannequins and runway because it’s not really something I would wear on a regular basis. Now this got me thinking, how am I am to wear a pair without looking like I’m office bound, because clearly, I’m just either going to the mall or attending an event elsewhere. Heehee.
Challenge accepted! Here’s what I came up with and all I did was to change the top I was wearing to dress up and dress down the pants.
Nothing spells causal than a white sleeveless top.
The key to achieving a sleek and clean look is to go for cuts that are structured. Top this with a blazer and this can pass for a good office-appropritate #OOTD.
Plain at the front pero may revelation at the back. Heehee. In fairness, the trouser is super comfy. I honestly never thought I could pull off wearing a navy pair, causally.
Relaxed fit, relaxed style. To make this more casual, change the shoes to a ballet flats pair or a white sneaker if you’re feeling it.
Here’s my other take on how to wear the pants.
Add a little drama to it by pairing it with an interesting top. The bright top complements the subtle color of the trouser.
I love this top! It can actually be worn two ways!
A plain nude pumps is a staple in one’s closet. It practically goes well with most outfit.
