Sweet Escape in Osaka, Japan

The challenges when traveling aren’t just packing, creating an itinerary, following a schedule or walking for hours to explore. It also includes taking good photos. For some it’s easy to have wonderful photos, if you have a friend or family member who is a photography enthusiast then you’re lucky. Over the holidays my family and I went to Osaka, Japan. And like most of our vacation whether domestic or international we always end up switching and taking turns capturing photos. So we tried the services of Sweet Escape. An app that lets you book a photographer wherever you are in the world. It’s such a brilliant concept especially for large group of travelers or those with kids.

Simply download the app free on iOS or Google Play, register (you can use your Facebook profile to do so), and choose a destination & book a photographer. Easy peasy.

Once you book, you’ll receive an email confirmation and your photographer will get in touch with you via the app on where and what time you want to shoot.

Since it was our first time in Japan particularly Osaka, we went for the famous tourist spots—Arashimaya and Fushimi Inari. I’ve always wanted to capture that Instagram shot in these famous Osaka spots. But since it was Christmas holiday and there were a lot of people during this time, our photographer Florentino suggested we di it shoot in Osaka Castle grounds. But since we already went there the day before, he suggested another place—old Kyoto.
