Whenever my husband & I travel we tend to take it easy and not have any itinerary–it’s a break from all the trips we do when we’re with our kids. But if there’s one thing I booked for our trip, it’s to have a session with Sweet Escape. We had a lot of fun shooting this with out photographer Alexandra simply because she was accommodating and took us to the places that screams London (something I requested heehee). It was a fast and easy shoot, probably because she was able to capture a lot of candid moments. Here’s some of the photos from our Sweet Escape session in London.
Trafalgar Square was almost empty because we went early in the morning.
Weather prediction said it would rain but thankfully the skies cleared that day.
Funny story as to why Jago wasn’t wearing his coat like he intended do but I’ll share more about that on my London post.
We walked around the area and took our time to sight see while we’re at it.
We weren’t planning on shooting here at The Mall but passed by it on our way to Big Ben so our photographer Alessandra suggested we take some shots. So glad we did because the lighting was amazing!
No London trip is complete without some photos with the iconic red telephone booth.
Unfortunately Big Ben was under renovation so he’s all covered up. We made do with what we can and took advantage of the crowd-free Westminster Station.
Then we stopped and literally took photos with the London Eye as our backdrop. What. A View.
Selfie because why not? London is just pretty!
We have a bunch of photos in this series and I loved each one.
Then we walked around Tower Bridge and took advantage of the place moments before tourists started pouring in.
Walked some more and we found ourselves under on the bridge.
If you follow me on Instagram you know I posted another shot of this. I did a bit of convo caption that made a bunch of my Instagram friends LOL ?.
More HHWW shot.
That London red bus served as a perfect backdrop.
I still have tens of photos from our shoot, I’ll post some of them in my Instagram. Truly booking Sweet Escape during our sweet escape was one of the highlights of our trip. I enjoyed the rest of our days indulging and just soaking it all in instead of stressing about having our photos taken.
