Ilang tulog na lang, summer na! I can’t believe February is closing and March is just a few sleeps away. We’re almost done with 2015’s first quarter! Anyare? 2015, I think you’re waaaaay more faster and aggressive than 2014. Anyway, during Pope Francis’ visit in Manila, we had the chance to go on a 5-day getaway with our friends. I shall chika that next week on the blog. For now, here’s the OOTD of lil’ Ms. GJG & I during our wonderful vacation at what looked like Mykonos.
Summer ready oh yes we are!
While I’m not a fan of matchy-matchy clothes for me & lil’ Ms. GJG before, now I find myself liking the idea that we can actually be matchy without being too matchy. Gets? 🙂
What else to wear on a beach trip vacation than bright colored, flowy dresses like the ones we’re wearing?
As usual, kinabog na naman ako ni lil’ Ms. GJG when it comes to posing! Nobody directed her on how she’ll pose. She just did when Mr. GJG asked her to “smile & look at the camera!” Aba, aba, aba!
As for me, I had a lot of funny outtakes but I dare not post. 😀 Pardon the no-blowdry hair. When I’m on vacation, I also let my hair & skin on vacation too. This means no blow dry or iron for my hair and no make up for my face.
Rayon spandex for me is okay to wear on a hot humid day and it’s actually my favorite dress material. It’s mostly soft and breathable despite it clinging to one’s body- this is really depending on the cut of the dress. This lovely cobalt blue one falls slightly just on the ankle with back slits for easy manoeuvring.
A tent dress is one of my least favorite dress, along with babydoll/empire cut ones because they tend to make me look like I’m pregnant and my protruding belly, becomes way too obvious. But with this dress, it’s different. The side layers make it tapered below, giving just the right among of bubble silhouette.
I couldn’t say much about this OOTD, save for the fact that I do blend well with the architecture of this lovely place! White and blue outfit, check!
I love how comfy the dress is, so much so that I didn’t want to change and sleep in it.
Currently my favorite causal foot wear to date. Who can resist this Valentino-ish lace espadrilles? I am so ready fo’ ya summer!
