Got no time to go out and have your nails done? Why not have a home service instead? Get Sugar Coat! Sugar Coat is a home service nail and wax salon that let’s you experience a lovely pamper time. I got to try Sugar Coat last week, it was so perfect since I had no time to squeeze in a mani-pedi sesh. It was my much anticipated “me time” that I needed. I love that I didn’t have to be stuck in traffic going home nor was I away from my kids just to get a mani-pedi! With Sugar Coat, I can relax at the comfort of my own home will getting my nails done.
I love that their services are affordable and service hours are up to 10 o’clock in the evening.
Apart from nail services, Sugar Coat also offers waxing services. They only do sugaring, a gentle waxing technique that uses wax made of sugar, lemon and water. Their wax is placed in individual containers to make sure there’s no contamination. They also always use gloves when waxing to ensure that the whole waxing process is hygienic. I haven’t had the chance to try their waxing but I’d definitely try it next time.
Here’s Sugar Coat’s set up.
I love that my nail technician, Julie Ann was very gentle and took her time doing my nails. I wouldn’t mind having spent two hours just so I can have an ultimate pamper experience.
The sugar scrub Sugar Coat uses is all natural and homemade. It has sugar and sea salt for exfoliating, cocoa powder and olive oil to moisturize and honey for of its healing properties.
Sugar Coat only uses glass nail files because these can be sterilised. If the nails cannot be filed using one, that’s the time they use a regular nail file and discards it after use, same goes with their wood pushers.
Thank you Sugar Coat for the lovely morning of pampering. I’ll have my nails serviced again soon!
