We had another lovely staycation last weekend. This time we stayed at F1 Hotel in Taguig City. It’s the first hotel to open at the dynamic Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila. We were pretty much excited to experience F1 for the first time.
We proceeded at F1 Hotel’s Premier lounge where they accommodate their VIPs. Naks. Feeling VIP naman kami bigla. Lavett.
Refreshments such as coffee, juices and pastries were spread for us to enjoy.
Green Latern & Hulk cookies. This is just a preview of what’s in store for their Halloween event.
Our itinerary was simple: eat, relax & enjoy.
My lil’ Ms. GJG was excited to exactly what was on our itinerary.
While lil’ Mr. GJG got a head start & helped himself with some of Kuya R’s (son of Kaye) toys. Thank you Kuya R for sharing them with my super hyper gwapito.
Trying to take photos like Mom!
Group photo! My family together with the others bloggers & their family and the F1 Hotel Manila team. Shortly after the brief introduction, we checked in our room.
F1 Hotel has a total of 243 rooms. 99 of which are suites and 3 benign loft suites. Guests can opt to stay in a deluxe room, city suite, fort suite and premier suite.
Our room has a spacious living room area, where you can convert the sofa into a king size bed.
Our room has 2 split-type inverter air conditioners and 2 32-inch flat screen TV-both having one each inside our room and one in the living room area.
Kitchen area (although there aren’t any sink nor stove) that houses the refrigerator & min bar.
Our room with a king size bed. The view from our bedroom is Bonifacio Central Square which I wasn’t able to take a photo of.
Here’s our suite’s bathroom which is located inside our bedroom. I love that it has a rain shower, a large mirror, a cosmetic mirror and a blow dryer. Sadly, there’s no bath tub but that’s least of our concerns since F1 has three pools: a small round pool for infants or babies, a square pool for kids and a lap pool for adults. After settling in, we proceeded to F Cafe where we had our buffet lunch.
Warning: food porn.
Some of the dishes are part of F1 Hotel’s Christmas menu. Lucky, we got to try it first.
Beef Morcon
Lamb Caldereta. I like how tender the lamb is and the sauce not over powering the meat.
Roasted Salmon with Orange and Rosemary Beurre Blanc. Love that the salmon wasn’t dry although I would’ve love to taste the orange & rosemary more.
Stuffed Turkey. I’m not a fan of turkey but this dish was something that changed my mind.
Chili Crabs. Definitely my favorite dish at F restaurant. I think I had more than two servings of this. Seafood really makes or breaks a buffet and this really made the F restaurant buffet worth it.
Paella
Churros
More sweet servings
Cream Puff
The dessert that I enjoyed most was Halo-Halo. They’ve got most of the ingredients from saba (banana), beans, cacao, ube and leche flan. Winner!
Chocolate Fondue
My lil’ GJGs enjoyed lunch as much as I did. Burp!
Shortly after our hearty lunch, the kids took their nap (including Mr. GJG) while I went to the gym.
I love how clean and nice F1 Hotel’s gym is. Unfortunately, three out of the six machines were broken. I was a bit disappointed in this as I’, really looking forward to using the elliptical machine more than the bike and treadmill.
But my disappointed slowly vanished upon seeing I can lift weights and do rows too.
While biking, I finished an episode of Devious Maids. I don’t really watch this but now I think I will.
Reading emails, editing photos and finishing work before we went down for dinner. So cozy the bedroom, it gave me the mojo to work that I didn’t want to leave.
We were supposed to have a BBQ dinner at the Canary Lounge just outside the F Restaurant, but rain started pouring in so we had dinner back at the restaurant.
Grilled meat plus corn salad for dinner.
But my favorite was this grilled seafood platter. The squid was grilled to perfection I think I finished this serving all by myself.
My dinner dates toasting to a lovely evening. 😉
We had a room-in message that night and we slept like a baby. Come the next day we were excited for breakfast while the kids couldn’t wait to swim.
This would’ve been our dinner venue for BBQ night but the rain had other plans for us.
We indulged and enjoyed the open area and breezy Sunday morning.
The infant/baby pool was a hit for my kids. They love that they were the only ones there so its all for themselves. Heehee.
Mom, this pool’s so cute! Take my picture! And so I did.
I love seeing the loves of my life happy. 🙂 Water babies talaga sila. They’d rather swim than eat & I don’t blame them for that.
We had to leave before checkout time as we had lunch with our friends. We would’ve loved to stay a bit longer and enjoy a little bit more, perhaps on our next stay.
F1 Hotel’s Lobby is located on the 5th floor.
The furniture gives a retro yet modern vibe no?
Lil’ Ms. GJG recharged and all set to check out.
While lil’ Mr. GJG was busy playing drums. Akala nya yata the centre table is a set of drums! Too kyooot!
