Again not a foodie but I like trying out new restaurtants especially those that offer dishes I don’t bother cooking at home. I have a list of restaurants I wanna try but traffic and life most of the time gets in the way. Thankfully one of the restaurants on the list is just a few steps away from Mr. JG’s office. So we tried Souv! By Cyma one weekday when I picked him up from work.
Souv! is a full-service modern Greek concept focusing on spit fired meat. Their menu revolves around the 3 souvlaki meats from the rotisserie- chicken, pork and lamb.
My hungry date 😀 I’m not very decisive in life (yes hahahuhu) especially when it comes to where to eat but that night I was really craving for Greek food. So buti na lang this guy gave in to my craving.
Grilled Sous Vide Octopus, Php 295
Tender and flavourful. Not really into octopus but this is something I will have again.
Lamb-Loaded Gyro Fries, Php 470
Lamb was cooked perfectly and it goes well with the gyro fries. Though I find it a tad bit too oily for my palette. Otherwise it’s a good dish.
Pasta Roca, Php 380
Nothing special but I like how it neutralizes the flavor of the other dishes we had.
Prawn and Shellfish Saganaki, Php 470
Basically prawn & shellfish casserole. It reminds me of jambalaya but with cheese. I liked naman it but for the price, I think I’d stick to Lamb-Loaded Gyro Fries instead.
Santorini Donkey, Php 250
Ordered a cocktail to wash all the food I ate. I forget what’s the mix but it was a good drink.
Baklava Froyo, Php 150
Capped off our dinner with Baklava Froyo. Truly enjoyed it. IT WAS GOOD!
Happy belly. Souv! is one of the restaurants I’ll go back to try other dishes. 🙂
