I am all about bargains! Even if something is just at 10% off, I would grab the opportunity to purchase it because every peso counts and I like the feeling that I get a good deal as much as I can. SM Department store is one of the places I would usually shop whenever I’m in the need to satisfy my bargain itch.
Last Tuesday, a few of us moms who blog (I dislike using the term mombloggers as not everyone of us are really mombloggers per se) together with some celebrity moms and press people got invited for a morning of holiday hunting at SM Makati.

After the briefing, we had a short walkthrough around the areas of SM Makati Department store, particularly the kids and infant sections where we had our bargain hunting.

The goal is to shop for 10 sets of outfits for different ages of kids (ranging from infant to teens) that are appropriate for certain holiday occasions and scenarios. The catch: shop for only thirty minutes with a total budget of 5,000 pesos.

Competitive ang team namin! Haha. We keep on checking the prices and the looks. We want kasi our outfits to have a cohesive theme and we choose the colours red, black and white which are seldom worn by kids but later we’ll show you that choosing these colours can still make your child cute and stylish.

Here’s a look at some of the clothes we picked that’s very apt for the holidays.
Most of this clothes are from 500 pesos and below. Some are even at 20% off! Winner!
We spent a total of 5, 271 pesos for all 10 outfits while Team A spent 5, 390 pesos. Imagine 10 sets of clothes, a total of 20 pieces of clothing all for 5,000 pesos. Bargain indeed!
