SALE ALERT: Robinsons Red Hot Sale!

SALE! A four-letter word that a lot of us like love. It is an opportunity for people who are on a tight budget to get more value for their money. It is also a good excuse to enjoy some retail therapy, don’t you agree?  So upon learning about Robinsons having their Red Hot (annual) Sale during one of my favorite months I got all giddy, the shopaholic in me was alive!

What got me more excited was the fact that I was invited as one of the bloggers to experience a more intimate shopping *screams*, held last Saturday, August 13,2011 at Robinsons Galleria. Wooot!

The advantage of being a guest/blogger for the sale event is that I get to take a good look at the participating stores and their marked down items 🙂 Mala-VIP access lang ang dating! 😉

So I took the opportunity to share with you all some of the great finds that I personally loved! We were asked to choose five participating stores to visit. Honestly I couldn’t choose just five, so I went and tried to go to all the participating stores! Here’s a look at what I discovered:

Aaah the treasures one can find in a department store! Since I was looking for accessories to decorate our new place, I went to check Robinsons’ home furnishing area and look what I found?

Pretty patterned curtains at marked down prices (for as low as 300 pesos)! They have it in different styles and sizes. I looked like a madman and tried hoarding it all! LOL (Robinsons Department Store is located at the 2nd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Saizen is known for it’s value-for-your-money store.  Where everything is at 85 pesos and products vary from house ware to office ware to crafts & art. You can have a lot of excuses just so you can buy all their nifty and useful items! So during the sale, they had items for as low as 50 pesos! Yes, value indeed. (Saizen is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Now moving on to all things girly such as clothes, shoes & bags! Maldita‘s marked down items included these pretty sandals, all for 500 pesos. (Maldita is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

For the shoe addict such as yours truly, great deals can be found at Wade. If you’re looking for that perfect pair then you might just get it for under 1,000 pesos. (Wade is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

And this cute brown and mustard yellow bag for 999 pesos only both from Celine!

You know it’s sale when you see red everywhere marked with numbers like 999 and 499, it’s just a sight to see! Aaaah a woman can never have too many shoes and bags! 😉 (Celine is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Meanwhile, if you’re in search for outfits that can be worn from 9 am to 5 pm and past 9pm (after work) I suggest you check out Ensembles & Freeway, they offer a wide variety of casual to semi-formal clothes. The white and black dress (as seen on the picture) is at 30% off around 900+ pesos na lang (Ensemble & Freeway is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Bayo is one of my favorite local brands and I really look forward every time they go on sale because mostly their sale items are at 50% off. Another great finds are their accessory line Bows & Bands, price ranges from 80 pesos to 300 pesos. Check out the the cute headband on the photo which retails for 89 pesosonly! 

Kamiseta is another one of my favorite local brands. Just the same as Bayo, when on sale everything is at 50% off. Note that the best time to buy swimsuits are during after or before summer starts. Check out the one piece/ monokini suits I picked, one in purple and one in hot pink both under 500 pesos only (lesss 50% off each). (Kamiseta is located at the 3rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Let’s move on to international brands. Dorothy Perkins (franchised by the Robinsons Retail Group) is one shop that I frequent to especially when they’re on sale! Check out the printed maxi skirt and the royal blue bejeweled top both at 50% off. (Dorothy Perkins is located at the 2rd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Warehouse (another brand housed by the Robinsons Retail Group) is worth going to during sale. Check out their lovely items on sale! Mostly at 50-70% off. I was eyeing on the black halter dress with gold embelishments, such a lovely dress. (Warehouse is located at the 2nd floor of Robinson’s Galleria)

Topshop is yet another brand managed by the Robinsons Retail Group. I love, love, love it when they go on sale! No excuse not to get any great finds! I found a lovely lace top for only 499 pesos (original price at 2,000+) , also check out this lovely suede nude pumps marked down at 2,000+ They have lots of goodies for those who are fashionable and for those who want to experiment on their looks.

At the end of the day I was super tired from touring the entire Robinsons Galleria BUT (yes, again with the big but) I ended up going home super kaduper happy with the great finds I got from the Red Hot Sale! August indeed is so good to me 😉
