I’ve been itching to go to the land of the rising sun which is why anything Japanese catches my attention. Just last week Rootote, a bag that is known in Japan for the innovation of a simple tote into a stylish and functional one has recently opened its first ever store here in the Philippines.
Welcome Tokyo to Manila! Rootote has 14 stand-alone stores and are in more than 200 department stores all over Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam and now in the Philippines. 
Rootote offers a unique line-up of 2-way backpacks and tote bags that are fit for both men and women, Japanese influence is evident in every piece with fashion-froward style and design functions that are very practical in any situation. 
The name Rootote comes from the animal kangaroo, since it has inner pocket, so do all Rootote bags inside wit patented “roo pocket”.
Form and functionality. All bags are designed to be the perfect stylish companion for travel, sports, casual, and other outdoor activities. Rootote bags have numerous pockets inside and outside. Another feature is it being water-repellent–literally good of any weather.
