I like MiPow Power Tube 5200 because:
Away alert lets me know when my phone is away from it. This usually happens when I go to my Pilates studio, oftentimes I don’t bring it with me. I also like that the away alert helps me detect where it is. Then I’d have the urgency to unclutter my bag or keep in mind to bring it hand in hand with my phone at all times.
It gives temperature alert. In a tropical country like the Philippines, it’s most of the time hot. And we know that batteries and heat don’t go well together.
My iPhone 5 gets two complete charge cycles with it. This means I don’t need to worry about having empty battery especially when I’m out and about.
It alerts me if my battery is at 30%, 20% or 10%. I can choose among these three options. I usually set it at 20% and when it alerts, it gives me enough time to recharge it.
It’s slim and discreet. It can fit in my clutch bag easily.
I can directly charge it on my laptop without needing its USB cable.
I wish that the Apple connector works though. The one I got was too loose that it couldn’t really connect my phone to it. I had to use my phone’s cable charger instead.
Overall, MiPow Power Tube 5200 is a power bank that one can consider when looking for a sturdy yet slim power bank that’s good for everyday use.
