I find myself loving lip balms lately. I guess it’s the hot, humid summer weather we’re experiencing here in Manila that prompts me to trade my lipstick for balm on an ordinary day (read: laundry day, errand day, mom duties kinda day). Hihihi.
Here’s my latest discovery from Etude House, the Sugar Tint Balm.
Sugar Tint Balm 4g at P498.
There are eight shades to choose from:
#01 PKK001 Strawberry Milk
#02 RD301 Cranberry Pie
#03 RD302 Apple Kiss
#04 OR201 Tomato Ketchup
#05 PK002 Pink Macaron
#06 PK003 Grapefruit Tea
#07 PP501 Grape Jam
#08 RD303 Blackberry Jam
I got to try two of the eight shades & I gotta say, I like them both.
The actual balm is housed in a sleek tube marked with the brand’s logo & cute type font. The twist cap prevents unwanted stain spill- a convenient packaging for women who like to throw in their make up inside their bag.
Etude House Sugar Tint Balm #6 PK003, Grapefruit Tea.
I love the light shade of pinkish peach. It gives the right amount of blush on my lips.
Etude House Sugar Tint Balm #2 RD301, Cranberry Pie.
The Cranberry Pie is more pigmented than the Grapefruit Tea. Two swipes and it covers like a lipstick. See how much pigmented it is? It doesn’t hurt that these balms come in a fruity scent.
Three things that I like about Etude House Sugar Tint Balm:
1. It glides smoothly and gives a silky feel, one swipe is all you need.
2. It is infused with jojoba oil, argan oil and vitamin E making your lips moisturized.
3. Pigmented enough that it can pass as a lipstick.
Plus points for its fruity scent!
