Pretty In Pink

I can’t believe my lil’ lady is now seven! My first born is no longer a baby, she’s now officially a kid. Hahahuhu. I was supposed to post this just in time for her birthday last week but I got caught up packing for our quick trip to Hong Kong to celebrate her birthday. While most of her classmates threw parties to celebrate their 7th year, my daughter chose to travel. So off we went to happiest place on earth.

My lil’ lady enjoyed her birthday weekend. She didn’t ask for any gift because for her, traveling with us was her gift na. Ain’t I a lucky momma?! She’s kind, sensitive, sweet and very compassionate. I really don’t wish anything for her except I hope she finds the courage to follow her passion. For her to have grit and to understand that life isn’t fair nor unfair, it’s what we make of it. That life won’t be easy and nothing is ever handed without hard work & love. Oh and of course I wish her good health!

Wearing matchy clothes with my lil’ miss is so much fun! People who know me well know I don’t wear much color, least of all pink. But this outfit is just too pretty it has become a favorite of mine. I know eventually my daughter might not like twinning with me as much as she does now, so I’m taking advantage. Teehee.

I don’t really have a lot of things to say other than to express how grateful and hashtag blessed I am to be called her mom. I can see myself in my daughter. Though we may not look alike, I can so see myself in her. She’s timid, painfully shy yet if she wants something, she’ll do her best to get it.

My promise is to not get tired of supporting her and her dreams. No matter how silly nor impossible they may seem.

I’ll be with you all the way my darling! 🙂

One of the best things about being a mom to a girl? Play dress up whenever we want to! Thankful for moments I get to spend with this little lady.

To the girl who has taught me true, unconditional love. One of my whys in this lifetime that makes all the hows seemingly possible, here’s to more style posts with you. I love you lil’ lady! 😉
