Attended last January 18, 2014 at Borough restaurant at The Podium Mall, a fun event together with my fellow Nuffies and mom bloggers. It was an activity-filled brunch hosted by PLDT Home Bro, as the brand introduced their latest affordable services to us. Before I go into details about Home Bro’s good news to everyone, I’m sharing some photos of what happened during our convivial brunch.
I so love the decors and the table setting prepared by the creative team of Nuffnang and PLDT Home Bro. So much so that I kid Thei (of Nuffnang) that maybe they can plan my kids’ birthdays next time. Heehee.
Of course a blogger event wouldn’t be complete without some social media interaction. Upon being seated, we were challenged to answer a contest question on Twitter, “How does technology make your home more fun?” And since we bloggers oftentime post photos of food prior to eating, it was just fitting that they came up with a contest for this too- the best food shot uploaded on Instagram.

After having our sumptuous brunch while catching up with the moms and kids, it was time for some fun activities. First up, we played Heads Up! Its like charades but we used a tablet to flash the words we needed to guess, I love technology! We played a best of 3 rounds between two groups of bloggers.
Here’s our team, acting out for our guesser- Fleur. Sobrang karir talaga kami because we’re competitive like that hahaha. All our efforts paid off because we won. Hooray!
After the energetic game of Heads Up! we proceeded to have some mom-child activity- Design A Frame Contest. We were given 20 minutes to design a blank picture frame however we want to. It’s a plus if we could incorporate ‘home’ and ‘family’ in our design.

Gabbie was in the zone as painting is one of her favourite things to do. Look at how she independently worked on our picture frame. My baby girl is all grown up!

Going back to the brunch, little did we know that while we were watching the presentation, the kids were being taught a couple of songs to sing and present to us moms. I was so surprised to see that my darling lil’ Ms. GJG being one of the two courageous little girls who represented all the kids. Anika (Fleur’s darling daughter sang M-O-M-M-Y to the tune of B-I-N-G-O while my darling daughter Gabbie sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It was such a heartwarming moment for me! Seeing her there singing not just for me but for all the moms and to everywhere there. I am one proud momma! 😀

After our baby girls’ performance came the announcement of winners. Design A Frame Contest have 3 winners, Vivian Tan of thesoshalnetwork.com, Fleur Sombrero of mommyfleur.com and Ruth Floresca of mommywrites.blogspot.com. The Foodstagram contest winner was Michelle Lim of mymomfriday.com and for the Twitter contest, I won! Yay! 😀

Thank you so much for having us. My lil’ Ms. GJG couldn’t stop talking about how fun it was. She kept on proudly saying she sang for the mommies and painted a picture frame, which she gave to her dad & her baby brother Juro.
