I don’t normally lust over clothes because I get by with thrifts and unbranded ones from Ebay. But please allow me to rave about the latest collaboration of Target with London designer Peter Pilotto.
Peter Pilotto is known for his innovative, colourful, complex and textured prints. I was once an anti-print girl as I would always choose solid colors over prints. Then I saw Peter Pilotto’s collection that’s whimsically beautiful. Psychedelic colorful clothes that I imagine myself wearing. It was love at first sight.
Lovely, just lovely.
Now, the award-winning designer has jumped the collaboration wagon for Target and has launched his capsule collection which will also be available via net-a-porter come February 9, 2014. Shet. I’m excited!
Designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the duo behind the brand.
“Our brand is about print, yes, but it’s also about the emotional feeling you can get from color and color combinations,”
This is true. For me, dressing up is my way of expressing what I feel and my love for colours strongly suggest that I love being happy. So if you see me in black or other dull colors, that means stressed ako. Okay, fine hindi naman, bloated lang kaya need magmukang payat! Hahaha.
I love that PP x Target is affordable for us mere mortals who cannot afford designer brands. The collection is said to be priced at $30 and nothing above $80. Pwede! 🙂
Anyway, here are some of my picks from the Peter Pilotto for Target collection.
Shucks! Gaganda! Anu baaa. Walang matapon ditey! I want them all. The dresses are just too gorgeous. Pasok for summer 2014 look!
Lav ett! I’m sure all the PP lovers will be busy online come February 9, 2014, clicking away ‘ADD TO CART’. While those who live in the US of A, they’ll be camping as the line up at selected Target stores to get their hands on these chic clothes. I am with you in spirit fellow psychedelic lovers, as I try my luck getting these online. Good luck to me. Dear ISP, please don’t fail me on February 9. Love, Jackie. Hahaha.
What’s your favourite from the collection? Ako? All of the above!
