Packing is something very ironic for me. On a daily basis, I cannot leave home without lugging around a tote that can carry most of my essentials and by essentials I mean the usual suspects: laptop, camera, mobile phones, external battery pack, make up kit, keys, shades, eyeglasses, earphones, water bottle, sometimes I give up my laptop for my Kindle or book. But whenever I travel with my kids, I find myself being a light packer & manage to bring just my mobile phone and wallet, the rest are all of the things they need.
The literal sense of #PackForLife for me is bringing what’s essential for me on a particular day. My bag may be filled with things my kids need or it can be things that I need. Either way, I don’t leave home without a good bag filled with essentials to match my activities for the day.
Last month, I traveled to Cavite along with my fellow bloggers for the Sample Room Launch at Balay Indang. It was a fine day to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The secluded area is a sanctuary to reconnect with nature. So I left the city prepared as I packed my essentials with my current favorite tote.

It’s almost always instant for me to wear skorts or shorts whenever I’m out-of-town. Comfy dressing for trips is a must for me.

Here’s Angela & I with our Outdoor Products bags. Angela is one of the few bloggers I’ve become close with. We were naturally drawn to each other because we have a lot of things in common.
I consider her as part of my #PackForLife. My pack of people is small but each person in the group contributes to my overall well-being. They are the people who bring out the best in me and encourage me to better. Though I am no social butterfly–I’ve always been awkward socially which leads me to having few friends–I’m really glad I found genuine people who inspire me to be the best version of myself, always.
