Nuffnang is 007 Party

It’s been weeks since I last went on a night out and I barely attend evening events as I allot dinner time to spend with my family. But since Nuffnang is celebrating their 7th anniversary this year, I knew I just had to be there and celebrate with them. I am so not used to going out that I kinda felt like a teenager sneaking out at nine in the evening, leaving my kids & Mr. GJG at home. The irony that despite feeling like a teenager, I also felt like I’m such a lola (grandmother) who missed her bed time.

The early birds caught another early bird that is Tito Jim Paredes. We arrived at Resorts World Manila 30 minutes earlier so we made tambay (tambay talaga) first. We saw him approaching the venue which is still closed so Earth immediately approached him. He willingly joined us for a quick chat before we all head inside Cabana Club. Dress code was all to wear an evening dress in black and white. Since I figured, a lot of women would wear black, even I myself would. But I remembered I have this houndstooth skirt so, I partnered it with a black inner suit,  instead of wearing a white dress or black dress.

Shempre naki-table ako with David Guison & friends! Heehee.

I’m in the middle of two gorgeous people- Ira Giorgetti & David Guison.

Eto kasi talaga yun “David Guison & Friends” table. Nakasama lang kami ni Ivan Heneras, Tippy Go & Abby Castelo (who were seated far right in this photo) heehee.

Eto talaga yun awkward pero cool na moment that happened that night.

Vivian: Ay, nakapagpa-picture ako kay Ramon Bautista. (I had my photo taken with Ramon Bautista)

Me: What? Where?

Tippy: Uy, andyan si Ramon Bautista sa taas (Ramon Bautista’s upstairs)

Me: Eeep. Bet ko a photo with him but I’m shhhyyyyy.

Tippy: *parang bugaw lang* Tara, I’ll introduce you to him.

Me: Eeeee (pakipot levelz) I’m shyyyyy.

But still, I went with Tippy pa din.

Eto yun moment when Ramon was busy making chika to everybody. Then Tippy made a quick introduction.

Tippy: Ramon, hi! This is Jackie… and before she even finished her introduction of me, Ramon blurted.

Ramon: Uy, si Go Jackie Go! I follow you on Instagram!

Me: Hi!!! (in a nervous yet starstruck level sabay smile) Can I have a photo with you?

Ramon: Sure, sure! (Ready to pose, agad-agad!)

So eto na yun mag photos! Hahaha.

Medyo blurry kasi a few phones & cameras were flashing their lights to take our photo. Lakas maka-paparazzi!

Then the succeeding two, medyo mellow na. Heehee.

Ang bait ni Ramon, kung student ako nito, naku mapapakanta ako ng “To Sir With Love” naks. Like a pogi talaga.

It was nice meeting you Papi! 🙂 You follow me, I follow you! Heehee.

Mauro Daez (pa-mysterious sa photo) was the host for the evening and he also drew the winners for the JBL headphones. Pero sorry, di ako nag wagi.

Look up, look up! We were the eager beavers who anticipated the raffle in the hopes of winning. No one in our group won but still, smiles were plastered on our faces.

Buma-bonding! The Bond girls with James Bond. Heehee.
