My Visit At Fabella Hospital + Caring Beyond Skincare Video

A few weeks ago, I, alongside mom bloggers Neva Santos of Manila Mommy, Frances Sales of Topaz Mommy and Jem Alvarado of ESuper Mommy got the chance to visit Fabella Hospital. It was still under renovation during our visit, but more than seeing the progress of the project, I was excited to meet some of the Fabella moms and the babies. So thankful that I am a NIVEA Baby blogger. This gives me a chance to inspire other moms and to share with you all updates about the Fabella makeover.

Almost 600 patients were in the hospital during our visit. Half of them are mom and child staying in the hospital wards.

Broken tiles and exposed pipings are just some of the things that catches your eye upon entering Fabella hospital.

Here’s a look at one of the wards we were able to visit.

These moms were queuing and patiently waiting for their turn to be called to meet their visitors, even if that “meeting” will only take for a few minutes.

A pair of moms with their babies share a bed. When a mom goes for a check up, the other mom looks after the two babies.

Meet Cyrus, a Fabella baby. He’s such a cutie pie I wanted to wake him up and just cuddle him! His mom said he was up all night nursing, so he was knocked out come morning.

Despite the situation at the Fabella ward, the air is filled with love. Moms support each other and have a happy disposition.

Meet Maria Mercedes and her son Martin, who, despite giving birth only a day before we visited, is seen here happy being a first time mom.

I suddenly miss having a newborn. That wonderful moment where you get to hold those tiny little hands and feet and just babble away your love towards that tiny human being is just priceless.

Thank you NIVEA Baby for being an instrument for us to visit Fabella hospital. I cannot wait to see the progress of the renovation. But until then, I’m sharing with  you all our NIVEA Baby Caring Beyond Skincare video instead.
