One of the things adulting includes is managing one’s paperworks and taxes. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, an employee or a homemaker, a trip or visit to local offices can be a hassle. Aminin, we all find it inconvenient. But what if paying our SSS, Pag-ibig contribution and even taxes can be done through an app? Wouldn’t it be great? With Moneygment it’s possible.
What is MONEYGMENT?
A one-stop shop mobile application that serves as a payments solution for self-employed individuals, small business owners, homeowners, OFWs, and the unbanked in filing their taxes, paying their government contributions, and other financial needs.
Jeff Lo of Pinoy Fitness and I attended the intimate launch at Manila Private House to know more about Moneygment App.
Moenygment is an app that let’s you file your taxes, pay your SSS, Pag-ibig contribution and eventually even pay your bills. You can enroll more than one account so if you have a full staff at home or have a small business and want to make filling for your employees’ contributions, this is the app that can help you save time, energy and resources doing so. Moneygment app has fixed fees charged for every service. So if you want to pay by batch (if you have more than one or two staff) you only pay one time service charge per service per transaction. Best part? There’s a handful of payment options to choose from– DragonPay, Paypal, over the counter via ECPay or through 7-11 stores.
The app interface is clean and user-intuitive. Eventually they’ll develop bills payment, utilities and even apply & pay for loan and insurance. Ang galing! Once you’ve sent payment you have to send back proof of payment and within a few working days, you’ll get a confirmation if you payment has pushed through and once it does it will automatically credit on the app.
The goal of Moneygment app is to not only make filing taxes and paying for contributions convenient for entrepreneurs, homemakers and even employers but also to future proof Filipinos.
FUTURE PROOFING
Future-proofing means being responsible citizens through filing and paying taxes, and ensuring savings and insurance coverage by utilizing government initiatives. We are all focused on the now that we may be losing sight of the future. Future-proofing can simply mean having funds for medical emergencies, calamities, or even for traveling abroad. It is helping you achieve financial confidence in securing yourself or even your micro-enterprise business. Future proofing means having the financial security and freedom.
MONEYGMENT SERVICES
Their services are designed to build an individual’s financial footprint allowing them to gain access to services that will lead them to future-proof themselves.Moneygment does this by educating its users with the basic building blocks of financial security –savings, insurance, and investment. I think mapping out finances isn’t one of the strong suit of most Pinoys because we tend to work for the present, not really thinking about our future. With this app, I hope it’s a step closer to making every Filipino financial equipped and ready for the future because what we invest in now strongly dictates our future. For starters there’s Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth, and SSS.
Moneygment believes that once an individual has future-proofed himself, it is when he or she can send any additional income they have to their families. Payment of government contributions and taxes as well as payment of bills, loans, and insurance. Eventually they’ll offer remittance of money too. Their services are geared towards this roadmap to financial security and freedom.
Here’s Jeff and I with Jes Palomino, the woman behind Moneygment app. I met Jes through Jeff and have been amazed on how she’s very passionate about finance and helping others gain financial knowledge and freedom. Congratulations again Jes and the whole Moneygment team! 🙂
