I love that my darling daughter lil’ Ms. GJG loves dressing up as much as I do. I love that I don’t have to force her to do so as she would independently choose her own clothes- although I dread this when she grows a little older. Heehee. As you all know, I like that we dress up similarly but not too matchy-match. Remember our travel outfit post? Well, here’s another one where we’re showcasing our Fall/Winter 2013 looks.
Veer away from the holiday colours and let your child stand out in this black and white ensemble. As much as I like Gabbie wearing a dress, she’s one lil’ lady who can sport a leggings and still look chic and pretty.
These vertical stripped leggings are comfortable, perfect to wear for get-togethers where she can enjoy play time with her cousins.
A casual take on a holiday chic style.
If you’re planing on going somewhere where you need to be a lil’ bit dressed, top this look with a chic tweed blazer and you’re little one is all set & ready to mingle.
Add some holiday cheer with this studded tiger sweater.
Clean and crisp look for the holidays.
Textures play an important role when you choose the clothes you wear. It can be as simple as my black and white ensemble but if you look closely, the details are quite interesting.
The jacket has a faux leather piping while the leggings showcase a cotton panel on the sides.
Can you see how cohesive our looks are but still lets Gabbie & I show our individuality? Remember, you don’t want your darling daughter to live under your shadow, you have to let her stand out. Choose outfits that will let your child’s personality shine as well as yours.
