I can’t remember the last time I had a mani-pedi with my darling daughter Gabbie. Actually, I can’t even remember the last time I had a mani-pedi at a salon! It has been that long. So when Clarisse of Orly PH invited me and lil’ Ms. GJG for a few hours of mom-daughter bonding at one of the most quaint cafes in the metro, I immediately blocked the date.
The intimate mani-pedi session by Orly was done at Sophie’s Mom Bakery Cafe at Upper McKinley, Taguig City. The timing couldn’t be better as I was really thinking of a good bonding activity to do with lil’ Ms GJG as we both felt overwhelmed with the first few weeks of school. It was the perfect event to destress and just be all girly.
Sophie’s Mom Cafe is just so dainty, everything is Pinterest worthy!
Parang I want to recreate my version of this corner at our home.
These Baked Orly are from their summer collection. Can you see how bright and summery the colors are?
But what caught my (and other mommas’) attention was Orly’s latest collection- Orly Blush. Soft shades of neutral and close to nude, that are perfect for the modern day woman.
This spread of goodies from Sophie’s Mom is just lovely!
Here I am with Sophie’s Mom, Tonette. She is the momprenuer behind Sophie’s Mom Cafe and yes, she is in fact Sophie’s mom! What started out as a plain hobby of Tonette (baking and table setting) eventually became her business. Its so cool to know real people who have transformed their passion and interests into a business.
The first one to finish was Anika, Fleur’s kikay daughter. Look at her colorful toes!
While I was making chika to Tonette, Clarisse and Jackie, it was Gabbie’s turn to have her nails done. The nail tech were from Beauty and Butter.
Aminin, who is more kikay? Me or her? Look at how she swatches the shades on her? Hindi nga ako ganito when I choose my polish anak!
And because wearing nail polish isn’t’ allowed in school, she had to let go of putting color on her fingernails and instead choose colors for her toenails. She picked the shades Saturated and Neon Heat from the Orly Baked collection.

Bilang isa akong labandera at cook, I opted for a barely dare, nude shade for my fingernails. Gandara Park!
My fellow SoMoms mommas also opted and chose Dare To Bare. Great minds really do think alike 😉
After doing our nails, our little girls got hungry and weren’t able to resist Sophie’s Mom’s red velvet cupcakes.
Here I am with lil’ Ms. GJG, fellow SoMom Mish Aventajado with Orly’s Clarisse and Jackie. Thank you so much for having us. It was such a treat to get pampered and be with other bloggers.
The mom-daughter tandems during the Orly Blush nail sparty Mish & daughter Gia, Fleur with Anika, Marj with her mom, yours truly and Gabbie with Tita (naki-Tita?!) Tonette of Sophie’s Mom.
Anika & Gabbie surely enjoyed their date with their mommas!
As I was joking during the event, I told Clarisse and Jackie that the ever famous nude shade of Orly was Lift The Veil- the shade most brides use on their wedding. After discovering the latest from Orly, I think the past brides can now move on to Dare To Bare. O ha, from lifting of the veil to daring to bare! I think I’ve found the perfect nude polish from Orly. Lakas maka-ganda ng kamay!
We love our nails! Wearing our matchy-matchy Salt Water sandals and our Orly nails. Loving the First Blush on my toes.
Thank you Orly for the lovely morning you gave my daughter and I. Orly Blush collection will definitely be my go-to nail polish.
Orly products are available at leading department stores, selected Landmark and Metro Gaisano malls, Purebeauty stores (2F Serendra, 2F Trinoma and UGF Alabang Town Center)
