Most of you have clicked on this post to know more about beauty detoxification. Uuuy, excited to detoxify. At shempre dahil usapang beauty eh mas na-intriga kayo as to what it is all about. First off, let’s define detoxification.
deetokseefikeyshun! Lakas maka-beki lang!
I got a message from Tina Madrazo, who spearheaded a non-profit initiative that raises awareness about the need to take action of our depreciating environment, which she refers to as beauty detoxification. The initiative is a three-day challenge to do simple, small actions that can possibly create huge impact in the environment.
“This is also a celebration of our commitment to planet Earth as beauty geeks. I believe that this can incredibly bring like-hearted people and communities together through global leaders and inspirations like you who could share their commitment to the planet”, said Tina.
And because its all about beauty, the challenge is to become an organic beauty by of course, doing things as natural as possible.
What can you do to become an organic beauty ?
Oh, well will you look at that, I guess I am somehow an organic beauty already! I’ve been on a no-dryer routine for the longest time. I only blow dry or curl my hair whenever I need to or during shoots. I also sell some of my clothes and buy most of my clothes from Ebay! Which makes me a fashion eco-chic girl! Okay fine, I’m partly justifying shopping for thrifts but at least my fashion footprint is at bay. Heehee. Lastly, I also don’t wear make up on a regular basis.
This is a fun way to raise awareness about the environment and at the same time go au natural for three days ha. Aliw!
Anyway, the aim of this initiative is to make a buzz by sharing your own meme over your social media sites like Facebook and Twitter and you can also tag your pretty girlfriends or anyone you know who think posses organic beauty.
To know more about this project you can check out Tina Madrazo’s blog.
Ladies, you know we can protect the environment for our children right? It only takes one beauty at a time. 😉

I thought this post is about “juicing” and other kinds of diet so I immediately clicked on the title. I was wrong. Haha! Oh well, when I referred to the above poster, I can say that I am just partly an “organic beauty” because I am quite guilty of sleeping very late. Say 1am, latest 2:30am. And then, when I feel sleepy, I just doze off leaving the lights on. I actually thought of this bad habit last night as I am seeing the bad effects. First, I feel so sluggish the whole day. Eh I have a toddler pa naman who is very active. And second, my skin is getting ugly na. I look a lot older than my age. I need to change. Besides that, I am doing the 5 other things listed on the poster. 🙂
Well anyway, I just wanna greet you a Happy Blog Anniversary! More blogging years to come!
