Another reason to go to SM Megamall is the newly opened Le Petit Soufflé. Despite the crazy line to get a parking, it’s still one of my favorite malls because it has pretty much most of the stores and restaurants I want. All the more now because I don’t have to go all the way to Makati to have my Le Petit Soufflé fix.
I’ve written about my Le Petit Soufflé experience early this year when Chef Miko Aspiras invited me to try Madrid Fusion Manila desserts. Few months after, he and business partner Charles Paw had me again for Le Petit Soufflé SM Megamall.
Same cute and cozy interior as their Century City Mall branch. According to Charles, they customised their kitchen–bigger than their first–so they can offer more dishes on their menu.
Surprise, surprise!
Inside Le Petite Soufflé you’ll see Workshop, a Bespoke Bakery that offers a handful of freshly baked breads, pastries and desserts by Chef Miko Aspiras.
There’s something charming about displayed treats that you can just sniff & stare. Hahaha!
I want this bar cart!!! I love the rustic and raw appeal of the interior of The Workshop. See that big bronze bowl that holds the plant? According to Chef Miko, it’s actually a mixing bowl which they heated and painted to create that vintage charm.
The bread monster, sweets lover, pastry admirer in me couldn’t contain my happiness 😀

Some of the rustic decors are sourced from Dapitan and Negros while some were made by Boystown.
Milky & creamy matcha latte.
I’m no fan of guava but this crafted drink is too good! Plus points for the presentation.
Hot Matcha Latte & Yakult Guava Crafted Iced Tea
Portage de Haricots
Comforting tomato soup with sausages and beans.
Marinated Octopus Salad
A refreshing salad of mango and marinated octopus. I love how tender the octopus is!
Baguette with Baked Tomato Dip
Cheese lover me loved this dish!
Baguette with Spinach-Artichoke Dip
Though I love me a good spinach dip, I find this one too salty –I already raised this concern to the them so I think they’ll tweak it a bit.
Le Petit Souffle Bacon, Cream and Egg Pasta
Creamy and flavourful, just how a classic carbonara should be. I like the crushed cashews and I think my kids would enjoy this dish.
Squid Ink Riz
Paella negra to many, this Squid Ink Riz is a must try.
Chicken Ratatouille Savory Soufflé
I’ve raved about this one the first time I’ve tried it and I’ll say it again, I love this dish! Comforting, satisfying. Just downright good.
As if sampling these dishes weren’t enough, we also sampled a few desserts from the Workshop. As much as I truly want to try everything, I was super full na and chose only a few ones randomly. Heehee.
I forgot the name of the two other desserts (dark chocolate cake and sponge caramel cake) but I couldn’t forget the Calamansi Pili Pie (the circle one with icing). Though I prefer chocolate desserts, this one is simply good–it’s tangy and sweet which for me works not just as dessert but also as a palette cleanser.
Lemon Vanilla, Golden Peach, Red Delicious Apple Crumble and Banana Loaf.
Maple Pecan and Kitkat Chocolate Muffins
Salted White Nutella
Another dessert that stood out for me! This little piece of heaven is creamy and crunchy!
Pop Corn Mille-feuille
Le Petit’s mille-feuille is definitely for people like me who likes sweets and caramel! I truly enjoyed this. Sayang though ‘coz I wasn’t able to try the Valrhona Grand Crus for it was already sold out that night. T’s definitely a good reason to go back to Le Petit Soufflé SM Megamall.
Congratulations Anne & Charles Paw on another Le Petit Soufflé!
