I’ve always envisioned myself as a homemaker. Apart from that I also see myself as one of those women, that despite being a homemaker and mother, who still have time for themselves and for their friends. Luckily, I am living just like that today. What I envisioned is finally happening. Naaaaks.
Not only am I happy being a homemaker but I am also happy to be a blogger. Because its another role that I like doing and along the way, it had given me tremendous opportunities to meet like-minded people. As you all know, I am part of SoMoms and we have been frequently seeing each other during events, and even just for a quick snack just because. Now, our group has gotten bigger and we have a few new members. To launch them to society (more like to shock them of what’s in store heehee) we had a lovely brunch to welcome them to the club (parang sorority lang!). The sumptous lunch happened one weekend of June at Wine Bar 1771, at El Pueblo in Ortigas. Here’s a look at what happened that fun-filled morning!
Wine Bar’s buffet breakfast was da bomb! Yes, It was delicious!
My brunch. Gutom lang.
And because we’re SoMoms, there was shopping involved. Products & services of SoMoms momprenuers were showcased. What better way to support each other than to promote & buy products from each other right? Heehee.
Two Tots sells kid furnitures, products such as organizers, pillows, woven crates and display items.
Nurture Nook Shop that houses Next9 cloth diapers and ring slings, Mommy Matters nursing and maternity clothes, Belly Belt, By Nature products, Baby Jane bowties and booties, Babiators and Boogie Wipes
Thurston Hatchett the distributor of Grandma’s Secret products, Vapor Soove, Mommy Hook amongst other mom-kid-baby products.
Aquasana Philippines shower & drinking filters.
Manila Baby wet bags
Paper Chic Studio washi tapes, paper products, and baker’s twine.
Willow Clothing Philippines
The almost four hour meeting slash general assembly slash luncheon slash chikahan portion slash shopping was our way of introducing ourselves, our advocacies, and our blogs to one another.
Ladies who lunch & who launch.
BetterMe campaign of the SoMoms was also launched that day. Well, sort of. It was a brief introduction of SoMoms’ campaign to spread awareness on how to be a better person. Of course to do that, one must start with one’s self. With that, there are many upcoming sessions (shopping included) to hone our skills to become better women so that we could also share tips to you our readers. Ang saya di ba? We all benefit in this campaign. Better me, better you! 😉 Better-er! Charrrroooot! 😀
Meet the old and new SoMoms!
