Lately I find myself appreciating accessories more than clothes. Don’t get me wrong, I still am keen on adding pieces that are staple yet stylish enough on its own that I don’t have to really worry about what to wear and how many times I can wear it.
Such as this shirtdress which I got on sale. Don’t you just love sale season?! I rarely buy clothes that aren’t on sale. Usually it;s when I really, really love it and can no longer wait for the next sale season. Haha.
There are days when I’m so consumed with motherhood and getting stuck in traffic shuffling my kids from school and driving myself to work that I end up picking whatever I see first in my closet. Thankfully since I’ve somewhat narrowed down my clothes, it’s been easy to dress up na. The challenge though is what to wear with it, accessories wise.
The only thing I wear on most days: watch, shades (for when it’s too bright), a nice pair of shoes and of course a bag that can fit whatever needs to be in it.
Current obsession: this lovely faux croc leather bag is such a stunning statement piece.
I’m not the type who likes wearing button downs but something about a white one (a dress pa at that) that makes me feel like I’m well put, even though I haven’t had time to fix my hair. Hahaha.
Ladies, meet Boite. Made from fine calf leather, this stand out bag has had a few compliments every time I bring it out. Best part? It’s from a local brand, Katre.
I love how this bag takes me from casual to dressy. I’ll show you how I wore it with a more dressy outfit on a separate post.
I’m not a fan of croc finish but this one is such an exemption! It may look small & structured but you’d be surprised that it can fit my camera, phone, shades, a few make up essentials, wallet, power bank and wipes! Galing no?
