I can’t believe we’re on the third month of 2018. January and February has been crazy fast. While there are so many things I wanna do and try to accomplish, I’m taking a step back and take things slow and easy.
Hi and low. Kinda best represent what I’m feeling right now. As much as I wanna do more for my blog by creating great content and updating it regularly, my daily (hello motherhood) life doesn’t give me the luxury to do so. Hahahuhuhu. Which is why I’m letting go of any pressure (mainly from myself –it’s that voice inside meeeeee) & really focus on what I wanna zone in.
Zoning in on the things I like–spending time with family & friends, dressing up (I felt like I’ve slacked off last year) and sharing things I’ve discovered here on my blog and on my social media. That’s my 2018 plan. Heehee.
Anyway, back to dressing up. That I-don’t-know-what-to-wear mentality needs to stop. Come on ladies, we buy clothes that we know suits us and our style but everyday it has been a constant battle on choosing what to wear. I have yet to figure out how to get off this hump. I tried minimising my wardrobe to only black, white and gray (kinda like how Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg does it) but I gotta admit it’s kinda boring. So I promise this year, I’ll make a conscious effort to dress up often (even though I’m super okay with my favorite black v neck shirts!
Not a fan of colors nor prints but maybe this year it’s something I wanna add to my style.
Not also a fan of high waist bottoms because I have bad posture (my belly tends to protrude and if I am bloated it looks like I’m pregnant ugh) but when I found pieces that compliments rather than accentuates my flaws then I’m all for it.
I think floral prints like plaid and houndstooth will never go out of style. Plus living in a tropical country only means we can wear florals most of the time.I’m so used to wearing a cover up (blazer, vest, jacket, cardigan, you name it) because I always feel incomplete without it. So for ays that are too hot, I opt for cover ups that are lightweight. Can’t believe summer’s officially here!
