There are prints that have become iconic that when people see it, they already know the brand behind it. Such is fashion retailer, Liberty of London. Last March 2015, the brand launched its collaboration with Herschel Supply. Four months after the launch in Vancouver, Herschel Supply x Liberty of London finally lands here in Philippine shores. Last July 22, 2015, the collection was presented to media over cocktails at Herschel Supply store in SM Aura, Taguig.
A potpourri station was inside the store and guests were free to take home a box. This was inspired by Liberty of London’s famous floral print textiles and print designs.
Drawing from Liberty of London’s extensive archive of distinguished fabrics, Herschel Supply carefully selected the Donna Leigh and Deborah floral prints for this exclusive offering. Adorning each piece is a combination of zippered interior and side-access sleeves, slender adjustable straps and polished silver tone hardware.
The uniquely styled Dawson offers multiple strap detailed compartments, with zippered interior and side-access sleeves available on each piece. Isn’t this pretty?
I took the liberty (pun intended) of taking photos of some of the other Herschel Supply bags and other accessories that were begging me to snap them away.
The intimate launch was hosted by the ever so perky Janeena Chan.
The Hanson is a clean cylindrical shape with an exposed drawcord while the Dawson has multiple straps.
The Ware has the same cylindrical shape of the Hanson, having a cinched closure concealed by a snap-fastened top flap.
The Ware, Hanson and Dawson are just three bags from the Herschel Supply x Liberty of London collection. I hope other bags from the collection will be available here in Manila soon.
