When you’re a mom of two and a stay-at-home one, taking care of your children is the job you’re tasked to do. It isn’t easy because as I have said before- when the kids demand attention & time you just can’t say no because you’re physically with them, I can truly attest to this. A friend once asked me to share my tips on balancing everything and I could only give her a faint smile while saying “Everyday is different and my schedule revolves around my kids.” I’ve actually written a post about being a stay-at-home mom and that it’s challenging to juggle everything when your time and attention are always on demand. That being said, I thank the Internet for making things easier for moms like me. I can pay bills, shop and get information online easily. These things are easily crossed out on my to-do list and of course eliminated from things I need to worry & think about.
One thing that I also don’t have to think about is the health of my family. Yes, giving birth twice via CS operation can give you memory gap no thanks to anesthesia, so memorization is not part of the things I’m good at. And when you’re a parent it’s a must to have a sharp memory or at least be OC enough to write the important prescriptions and medications your family need- well I am OC, the only problem is I have way to many notebooks (virtual memo on my gadgets and the real thing). And because I am also breastfeeding, I also have to know the food and medicines that are safe for me and my baby. Good thing Unilab, one of the trusted leading brands when it comes to health care has a website that can help moms like me know more about their products as well as information related to health and well-being.
I love that you can easily search for their products by brand name, alphabetically.
Once you click on a product, you can see very detailed information such as dosage & administration, indications and contraindications, formulations, and product descriptions.
They have articles & advisories that you can share via different social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
Plus health tools such as calorie burn rate to let you know how much calories you burn doing your favorite activity.
There is really no excuse to not be healthy in this modern day and age. For information is easily available, all you need to do is click away to be knowledgeable. With tools such as Unilab’s website, Filipinos will be more encouraged to try and live a healthier lifestyle.
After all, health is just a click away. Thanks Unilab!
