Admit it or not but accessorising can be happiness-inducing. Women tend to have more than a few options to accessorise and as for men, it’s quite limited. The necessity to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colourful piece is what two friends did exactly six years ago. Viktor Tell and Mikael Söderlindh of Sweden founded Happy Socks.
It’s all about transforming that one, everyday essential into becoming a colourful addition to your wardrobe that ultimately, spreads happiness. Ultimate quality, craftsmanship and creativity make up the concept of Happy Socks. Their goal is to provide the best and happiest socks around. The brand has been well-received globally- being available in over 6,000 fashion apparel boutiques in more than 70 different countries in all continents. It is also loved by famous Hollywood celebrities such as Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Gwen Stefani and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to name a few.
It wasn’t until late last year that Happy Socks was available here and just last week, it was officially launched here in Manila.
My happy lil’ Ms. GJG who is a Happy Socks fan tagged along with me.
So did MFO’s mini me, Berry! These two were equally excited to be together again. We let them pick their own pair of socks. Too kyoooot!
More, more photos of the two. Heehee.

Adult P649
Kids P799/ 2 pairs a pack
Infant Tights P1,390
These are just some of the designs of Happy Socks. Nakakaloka so many, so pretty parang I want it all for each of us!
Here’s the pair I picked during the Happy Socks launch. Here I am forcing as smile as I struggle deep inside to maintain my balance. All my pilates and yoga classes are starting to pay off. Heehee.
We also met Jonathan Larrson, he’s the man who oversees the international operations of Happy Socks. Welcome to Manila Jonathan!
The MFOs & The GJGs with Sophie Uy, co-founder of Sample Room and Kathy Sy of Happy Socks PH. Congratulations again Achis for the successful launch!
Each guest got to take home a “happy box” containing assorted Happy Socks which we can either give or use. Since Mr. GJG loves Happy Socks, I gifted it to him. It’s the only accessory he’s very fond of! There was also a note that has tips on how to make someone happy through simple lifestyle tweaks. Kyoooot lang ‘coz I did one of the suggested acts of happiness immediately when we got home- GIVE A HUG. Lil’ Ms. GJG & I gave our lil’ Mr. GJG a hug just because we miss him!
Soon, they’ll be launching Happy Socks athletic socks and underwear, hopefully by the second half of this year in their selected retailers.

I am not that fond of using accessories. But I owned pretty much a handful of necklaces, earrings and belts. 🙂

Hi Gail! Same here. I find myself resorting to bags or shoes more than belts or necklace when it comes to accessorising. Or baka nakakalimutan ko lang suotin? Heehee.
