Happy Holidays From The Go Family

Before the year ends, we had our portrait taken. It’s a thing I’ve been trying to pass as our family tradition. While I like taking our photos just because, I make sure that at least once a year, we get a decent family photo shot by a professional.

This year’s Go family portrait was shot by Oak St. Studio’s Jonathan Keh.

Our photographer Jonathan was quite impressed at how my kids are photo-ready! Hahaha. I told him though that I’ve trained them since they were little to just smile and be their candid self whenever they see a camera. Of course there are times that they’d choose to turn their back at the camera, after all, they’re kids and they just want to have fun. Lucky for us, Jonathan was able to capture their candid moments!

I love this photo of my lil’ Ms. JG & I. She’s her own person now and have displayed more independence this year. Oh how I wish I can freeze time so she can remain this way. Since I can’t, I’m happy Oak St. Studio was able to immortalize this moment my daughter & I share.

I gotta hand it to Jonathan for being a pro – with limited space to shoot, still he managed to take great photos of my family. We also were able to take a few layouts, my parents-in-law and sister-in-law include in (indoor shots to be revealed once I get them) and finish in an hour or perhaps less! Thank you super for being such a chill, cool and great photographer. Everything was as candid and natural as we want it to be!

2015 has been a good year for me and my family. It was not a walk in the park for we faced challenges which tested us as a family and as individuals. But I am thankful and grateful for another year that’s about to bid goodbye. I am grateful that I was able to pick up the lessons from the things that had happen. Truly nothing beats spending quality time with your family and loved ones. This, plus good health is my wish for everyone this Christmas.

Enjoy the time you spend with your family – eat, feast, take tons of selfies with them and most importantly, be in the NOW!
