Pardon the delayed posts, I have two weeks worth of backlogs because I had the flu, the long weekend, my birthday and our big move, but now that I’m better and I’m slowly getting back to regular programming so I shall post away!
I was very lucky I got invited to witness the unveiling of winners of the Globe Tatt Awards by Globe Tattoo. It was held last August 26,2011 at Manila Peninsula. It was a celebration of people who have a great impact to us netizens and those who have contributed to social media as well. Globe Tatt Awards was after all about (as what the tagline says) “Marking greatness in social media”.
So the winners were chosen through online public voting and by the Tatt council they are composed of: Tattoo Head of Nomadic Broadband Dong Ronquillo, veteran journalist and the force behind ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs’ social media initiatives Maria Ressa, Rock Ed Philippines founder Gang Badoy, blogger and entrepreneur Cecile Zamora-Van Straten, tech blogger and Tattoo ambassador Rico Mossesgeld, director, video blogger and founder of Philippine KPOP Committee Inc Kring Elenzano, RX 93.1 radio DJ Chico Garcia, President of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines Hans Roxas-Chua.
Okay, so if I were to read something, it’s very more engaging if there’s tons of pictures. So yes, I won’t bore you with another paragraph of blah blah blahs, instead join me as I take you back on what happened that night.
